International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma Students) at the CBS

The Carl Benz School of Engineering and the B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (International) annually attract a significant number of students from International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools. With a rich history of educating international IB students, we strongly encourage applications from those who have completed the IB Diploma Programme (DP).

We recognize that IB Diploma holders are exceptionally well-prepared for university education, thanks to several key components of the IB curriculum. These include the Theory of Knowledge course, the Extended Essay requirement, and the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component. This acknowledgement underscores the value placed on the unique skills and perspectives that IB students bring to both the B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (International) and the CBS College Program.
